On Fernadina Island in the Galapagos a baby sea lion got chummy with a marine iguana while its mama was out hunting. Baby sea lions on these protected islands are often alone as they wait for their moms to return. They wander, sleep and explore. No human can go to the island without a naturalist being with them. This pup is on the thin side but seemed well and the naturalist was not concerned.
