the duga tower in chernobyl was the coolest radar i have ever climbed. it was also my favorite place in the zone. i called it “the soviet vertical obstacle course” in one of my older posts. it really felt like it. i’m eagerly waiting to get back into the zone when it will be safe again. i did not explore it fully through my previous trips. even experiencing the same places again would be a dream.
