I am going public about what I am experiencing when having a love one with dementia and nonverbal in the care of Autumn Lake Healthcare off Musgrove Rd in Silver Spring MD. I have to be my mom caregiver, protector, advocator, and also be her daughter. This is the day after my mom assault and I needed to get her medical records. She got a rape kit done because she was also bleeding from her private area. When she called the police on me and I showed the officer my mom face, he pulled her to the side to get her away from me. He saw how emotional I look and left me alone. I am bringing awareness to what is going on within our community and is going to fight for justice for my mom. Cameras need to be installed in these facilities hallways to protect residents!
