Shoulda joined CHP PC 211 (armed robbery) GTA suspects escaped on 7/14/26 after LAPD watch commander ordered his units to stand down. They abandoned the stolen Chevy SS and got into a Civic Type R as their getaway car. The air unit helplessly watched as the suspects even spent 10 minutes at a gas station filling their car back up. The pursuit lasted over 2 hours.
