Additional officers arrived at the scene and started rendering aid to Abdelnabi. Police said Lindsey’s gunfire struck Officer Abdelnabi eight times. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Additional officers took Lindsey into custody and provided medical aid. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Lindsey suffered a gunshot wound to the chest from Officer Molinet and a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Both wounds were determined to be fatal.
