On August 27, 2026, at approximately 5:29 p.m., officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident in the 1500 block of Pamela Court. During the 911 call, a woman could be heard screaming and pleading with a man to stop hitting her. According to reports describing the released body-camera footage, officers encountered 35-year-old Enrique Lozano, who allegedly ignored repeated commands and attempted to grab an officer’s firearm. An officer responded by opening fire, striking Lozano. Officers immediately rendered medical aid before Lozano was transported to a hospital, where he later died. No officers were injured during the incident.

This was the first time I’ve ever seen a foal act like this… pinning her ears, striking out, even trying to attack anything near her. We knew right away something wasn’t right with this sweet girl 💔 Did you know foals can act out like this because of tummy pain? For example, a foal with gas or colic can become extremely uncomfortable and reactive — they may lash out, seem agitated, or not want to be touched. Always trust your gut… sometimes those “behavior issues” are actually a cry for help. She is currently being treated with prebiotic & probiotic paste along with gastro gard to help with her tummy and she is back to her normal sweet self!
