On September 26, officers near Centennial Parkway and Pecos Road heard gunfire and spotted a silver sedan fleeing the area. After a 100-mph chase, they arrested 36-year-old Hector Andres Rodriguez at a gas station with the help of a K9 unit. Two guns recovered from Rodriguez and his home were tied to multiple shootings, including incidents at Mandalay Bay, the Wynn, and the Clark County Family Court. Investigators believe he was motivated by anti-police sentiment after finding videos where he threatened to kill officers.

Shoulda joined CHP PC 211 (armed robbery) GTA suspects escaped on 7/14/26 after LAPD watch commander ordered his units to stand down. They abandoned the stolen Chevy SS and got into a Civic Type R as their getaway car. The air unit helplessly watched as the suspects even spent 10 minutes at a gas station filling their car back up. The pursuit lasted over 2 hours.
