In a recent recording, a masked man speaking English with an accent accuses 28-year-old Jan G. Jr. of stealing a large shipment of cocaine from a “Belgian friend.” The video names the weight — 1,283 kg which an extremely large amount of narcotics. They gave 12 hours for its return, otherwise they would “kill everyone he loves”. The ultimatum apparently expired shortly before the raid on a farm by the police on the night of September 1. According to AD, Jan G. did business with people from the circle of Jos Leijdekkers (“Bolle Jos”) — one of Europe’s most wanted drug barons. About 30 people in masks surrounded a house in Overasselt, Netherlands and opened fire. In a shootout, a 51-year-old guard was killed and two police officers were seriously wounded. Jan G. fled in his underwear with a small child. This is a longstanding war between rival groups of large drug traffickers. Police detained about 35 suspects, including citizens of Belgium, France, and Algeria. It’s unknown who the people are in the video but it’s suspected they are tied to Jos Leijdekkers.
