A high school student died after falling from a fourth-floor balcony at Highland Park High School. According to reports, the incident began with a fight between students inside a classroom. A teacher intervened, after which the student ran into the hallway and was pursued by his attacker. Near an upper-level corridor, he went over the fourth-floor balcony railing and fell to the ground below. He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
